Parishioners were so grateful to Msgr. Beach and parish leadership for their recorded daily reflections and for the recorded and live-streamed Masses during the coronavirus (COVID-19) shutdown.
From March 19 through May 17, 2020, St. Jude leadership offered daily reflections on the readings of the Mass in the form of 2-minute videos. Reflections were given by Monsignor, Fr. Dave O’Brien, Deacons John Riordan, Tim Lynch, and Mike Cushing, Sister Elizabeth, and Mrs. Lori Rawski.
In addition, Sunday Mass was recorded in our church with the help of parishioner and vidoegrapher Joe Wengyn. Holy Week Masses were live streamed from Mary, Mother of the Redeemer, where Monsignor Beach and Fr. O'Brien concelebrated.
Through the generosity of two parish families, St. Jude was able to begin Live Streaming Mass every day from our own church beginning Monday, May 18. In this way, St. Jude Parish continued to provide spiritual support to our parishioners during the COVID-19 pandemic, and many grateful people shared their thanks:

Thank you for taking the time and working through challenges to post daily reflections. This allows us to continue our daily devotion and keeps us close to our special parish. We look forward to continuing to enjoy these reflections until we can celebrate together again. Our family will continue to keep all of you in our prayers as this must be a difficult time for our devoted clergy.
Sincerely,
G. & L.W.
I just participated in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Thank you so much for providing this video service to our parish. I miss you all, especially the children. You are all in my prayers.

Thanks so much for being there online for us through Mass and your daily reflections. It means a lot to us to feel connected with our St Jude family. Keep well and God Bless you all.

Good afternoon, Deacon John,
I want to thank you for this morning's reflection. Belief, faith, hope...it is what I needed to hear as we all enter this second week. Thank you for bringing this message to the community. It is a message so worth remembering.
Sharing in God's blessings.
L.D.
I want to thank you for bringing us the Mass. It’s so wonderful to watch on my Laptop, so personal. Thank you.
M.G.
Monsignor, my prayers are with you and our community. Please know that although we are not physically present together, your leadership is greatly valued and our ‘virtual’ meetings are an inspiration and reminder of why we value coming together at Mass.

Hello Monsignor- I hope you are well. I wanted to tell you how wonderful Mass was on Sunday. M. and I enjoyed it from the comfort of his living room. What a blessing it is to be a part of St. Jude and the wonderful family that is created there. I look forward to next Mass and soon when we can all be together again. Stay healthy and wish Father Dave the same.
God Bless,
K.W.
I want to thank you for recording the Sunday Mass. We are sincerely grateful. While we enjoyed watching the Mass, we’d much rather see you in person. Stay safe. Our country has survived worse situations, we’ll survive this, as well. Thanks be to God.
J.G.
Thank you for putting the Mass online. We really enjoyed it and it gave us a little feeling of “normal.” I can’t tell you how important it was. I’ll be keeping everyone from St. Jude in my prayers. Please do the same for my family.
D.D.
I just want to say thank you so much especially for the (online Sunday) Mass today. It was for my great aunt who passed away last Palm Sunday. It means a lot to me that you are still going to Church and singing/reading, and we were able to still remember her today. I shared the link to the Mass with my family, so they can enjoy, too. Thank you. You are all amazing.
God Bless.

Good Morning, Monsignor,
We wanted to thank you so much for posting the Mass. I really needed it. Just wanted to check in and make sure all was well on your end. Do you need anything?
T.D.
Dear Monsignor,
We just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued spiritual leadership and prayers during this very unsettling time for us all. Our hearts are full as we watch the daily reflections, participate virtually in Adoration, and last Sunday's Mass was really what we all needed. We continue to keep you in our prayers as you keep us in yours. Please reach out if you need anything from us your faithful.
With love and affection,
S.R. & J.R.
Monsignor Beach,
I wanted to personally thank you for all that you are doing for us in this time of need. Your caring for us and working to continue to bring Christ to His people is something that will help to sustain us during this difficult time. From the Holy Hour to the daily reflections it is a way of uniting us with Christ and His Church. I can’t thank you enough for your leadership and if there’s anything I can do to help, please let me know.
J.W.
Good afternoon Msgr. Beach,
I hope this email finds you healthy and being safe. I just wanted to thank you for two things. One for celebrating Palm Sunday Mass. It was beautiful. J. and I turned on MMR and enjoyed the Mass. How nice it was to see you, Fr. Dave, and Deacon John. One thing we have found comforting during this time is we are tuning into daily Mass with LC, and on the weekend we get to visit Mass with some past pastors and friends from St. Maria Goretti, Msgr. Hennessy, Father Brownholtz and of course our current pastor Father Chung and also our family friend Msgr. Conway. But with that said, I wanted to thank you so much for your kind words and for the blessing and prayers at this very difficult time. I also miss the hustle and bustle of the school day and the faces of our students.
Please stay healthy and I hope to see you soon.
T.C.
Dear Monsignor Beach,
Happy Easter to you. I hope and pray that you continue to stay well. Thank you for your beautiful and inspiring Easter message. Your spiritual guidance during these difficult time has indeed been a blessing. As J. and I watched the live streaming of the Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil from MMR we couldn't help but feel that although the services were beautiful we really missed two things; first, we missed being there in person and second, we missed you and Fr. Dave. Particularly we missed your homilies and words of wisdom and love. This has been a very different Easter, but our faith in the risen Lord tells us that we will get through this and one day soon we will all be together to celebrate and proclaim How Great and Good is our God!
Thank you for your continued prayers and guidance.
Lovingly,
S. & J.R.
