Letter from our Director of Parish Faith FormationDear PREP Parents,
I hope your children are having a wonderful experience with PREP. If you are looking for a way to have your children grow closer to Our Lord please visit the Formed.org website. It is like Netflix for children and adults. It is full of information and movies about the saints and sacraments.
There is a wonderful video about Pope Saint John Paul II https://watch.formed.org/videos/pope-john-paul-ii and many fun videos like this one about saints and hero's for children. https://watch.formed.org/the-saints-and-heroes-collection.
Please be sure to look at the Parish bulletin in church or on this website for ideas and ways your family can perform works of Mercy. Please contact me if I can be of any assistance.

Handy Faith Resources:- There are many ways you can pray and there are many sites you can utilize. The rosary is my go-to prayer. The PREP children, catechists, and I pray one decade of the rosary every time we have PREP. You can find rosary apps in your phone’s app store. I use Laudate, an Apple app that has many prayers and traditions, such as the daily readings, Rosary, Stations of the Cross, examinations of conscience, the Bible, links to EWTN, and many other amazing options.
- For those of you with young children at home, I suggest. “Look to Him and Be Radiant” (https://www.looktohimandberadiant.com/) is a website full of awesome ideas of activities to do with children, as well as links to videos and music. In my humble opinion, if you can keep your children away from the news, I believe they will feel much more secure and less filled with anxiety.
- FORMED.ORG, the online website that is sometimes referred to as Netflix for Catholics, is full of wonderful movies and stories for all ages. To access simply go to our website, stjudechalftont.org, and scroll down to the FORMED button on the front page. It is free to everyone, and paid for by the parish. I love “Brother Francis” videos for children, and the Forgiven series is exceptional. The movies about the saints are fabulous and are for middle schooler to adult.
- Catholicphilly.com has many great articles and ideas from our local priests, bishops, and laity.
- PrayMoreNovenas.com is a wonderful online resource for prayer and novenas, and you can receive email reminders, if you want. Sign up on their website or by contacting [email protected].

Registration for PREP
2024-2025 Religious Education Registration
Parish registration is required in order to attend PREP. For students new to the program, an original Baptismal Certificate must be presented at the time of registration.The 2024-2025 student registration forms are available on the PREP Documents tab above. To complete registration:
1. Print, sign, and send your student Registration Form AND Pick-up Authorization Form to:St. Jude PREP
2. Include Payment at the time of registration in one of the following ways.

Chalfont, PA 18914- Mail in your signed Registration Form AND Pick-up Authorization Form with your check made payable to St. Jude Parish. In memo write PREP. OR
- Mail in your signed Registration Form AND Pick-up Authorization Form and go to Online Giving. Choose PREP Fees for contribution type.
3. Sign up for our email list (Flocknote), found on this page. You will receive emails from PREP through this system and an interesting and informative weekly update from the parish. Be sure to put [email protected] in your contacts or mark it as safe, so that our emails land in your inbox, not in some other folder.
4. Sign up for FORMED on our own FORMED website, stjudechalfont.formed.org. Enter your email and password and stay logged in for easy access to recommendations that we will be using for religious education.
